A fun adventure on the Isère River, perfect for families with children aged 6 and up. Unforgettable memories guaranteed!
Starting from River Camp Landry.
Please allow approximately 2 hours in total, including: equipment fitting, safety briefing, around 35 minutes of navigation on the river, return transport from the river, time to change clothes afterward.
All participants must:
-Have their own insurance
-Know how to swim at least 25m and fully submerge themselves
-Have passed the minimum age on or before the date of the activity
-Be at least 6 years old.
Provided: Full neoprene wetsuit, neoprene boots, helmet, and life jacket.
You will need: a swimming costume, a towel and a bag for your belongings and clothes. Avoid bringing valuables.

The price includes: a fully trained guide, all the required equipment transport back to the white water base.
The price does not include: any insurance or transport to or from the meeting point.

Infos pratiques
In rafting you go down the river on a large inflatable boat. There are 4 to 9 spaces for participants and a guide sits at the back to steer and instruct everyone. Participants sit on either side and paddle as the guide tells them to.
Everyone needs their own insurance.
Everyone needs to be able to swim at least 25 metres and submerge themselves fully (swimming test during the activity)
The minimum ages are strictly adhered to and participants need to have passed the relevant birthday on or before the date of the activity:
– Extra Isère Rafting : from 12 years old.
– Discovery Rafting: from 8 years old.
– Baby Raft: from 6 years old.
Ask when you book about signing the legal documents before the activity for all minors participating without a responsible adults.
Different descents are offered depending on the ages of the participants on the day of the activity. Choose your run on the Isère: Isère Extra, Discovery, or Baby Raft, adapted to the youngest member of your group.
If you are unsure which descent to choose, feel free to ask us. We will suggest the option best suited to your group and your preferences.
You should bring: a swimming costume, a towel and a bag that closes and is big enough for all your clothes, shoes and towel.
We will give you: Full neoprene wetsuits, neoprene boots, helmets, life preservers and paddles.
Each activity has a specific time-slot and meeting point, these are given upon booking.
– If you are staying in Les Arcs and would like to participate in rafting or hydro-speed swimming you have two options:
Everyday, you can use the free shuttle buses to get to Arc 1600 and from there use the Funicular train to go down to Bourg St Maurice whereupon we will pick you up in our private bus that will take you to the white-water base. At the end of the activity we will drop you back at the Funicular train station in Bourg St Maurice for the return journey.
On Tuesdays and certain Wednesday morning, take our free bus directly from the Villards village in Arc 1800 down to the white-water base. At the end of the activity we will drop you back to the Funicular train station in Bourg St Maurice where you can get the Funicular back up to Les Arcs and use the free shuttle buses to arrive at your chosen destination within the resort.
Don’t forget to tell us if you need any of these options when you book.
– Unfortunately it is not possible to participate in canyoning without a car as the meeting points are at least an hour’s drive from Les Arcs and they are quite out of the way so there are no public transport options.
